TWELVE BRYOPHYTE GENERA, NEW DISTRIBUTIONAL RECORDS TO ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA

Abstract: Twelve Bryophyte genera representing 13 species and a variety, viz., Rebouliahemisphaerica (L.)Raddi, Cheilolejeuneagiraldiana (Massari) Mizut., Mastigolejeuneahumalis (Gottsche) Schiffner, LeucobryumhumillimumCardot, Hymenostomumedentulum (Mitt.) Besch, Hymnostyliumrecurvirostre (Hedw.) Dixon, H. recurvirostrum var.auranticum, Trichostomumtenuirostre (Hook. & Taylor) Lindb, Anomobryumfiliforme (Griff.) A. Jaeger, A. schimidii (Mull. Hal.) A. Jaeger, Pohlia flexuose Harv, Bartramidularoylei (Hook. f.) Bruch &Schimp., Floribundaria floribunda (Dozy &Molk.) M. Fleisch and EntodonscariosusRenauld&Cardot,are collected fromdifferent forest tracts of Eastern Ghats in Andhra Pradesh are being reported as new distributional records to the state.
