Abstract: 24 (twenty four) crosses were made in Line x Tester design utilizing 6 Female and 4 Male parents of wide genetic base to as certain the performance of parents for TSPS attributes. Among these crosses Indira Navin x Sre rethna for capsule set, Indira Navin x Gauri for seeds per capsule and IGSP-C-15 x Sree rethna for 100 seed weight were found promising. Parental lines Indira Madhur, Sree rethna and Gauri were good females and all four testers were good males for TSPS production.
